By signing up to an Ultra Comedy event you are agreeing to the following:
- For Ultra Comedy and our fundraising partner givestar to contact you via text message, WhatsApp and email with information.
- For an event representative from Ultra Comedy to get in touch with you via text message, WhatsApp and email.
I consent to Ultra Comedy processing data for legal, personnel, administrative and management purposes and in particular to the processing of any sensitive personal data (as defined under UK GDPR, alongside the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018)).
I consent to Ultra Comedy making such information available to those associated with the event and training (such as trainers, coaches, event coordinators), any regulatory authorities and as may be required by law.
I understand that my name and event information may also be used to generate event tickets and notify me when someone selects me as the reason for their attendance, via our affiliated platform uk.ultratickets.co.
I understand that as a participant, I will receive eight weeks of free coaching and that Ultra Events will commit to hosting an event for my participation. I acknowledge that the event atmosphere relies on the support of participants’ friends and family, and it is a requirement of my participation to ensure guests purchase tickets. Ticket revenue is essential to funding the events and covers costs including, but not limited to, coaching, venue hire, medical and security staff, online infrastructure, professional photographers and videographers, administration, and trophies. Selling these tickets represents my commitment to the event.
I acknowledge that Ultra Events reserves the right to postpone or vary the event due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control. In such cases, my participation and any tickets purchased will be transferred to a rescheduled date.
I understand that my personal details (including my name, email address, and event information) will be shared with our fundraising partner givestar to automatically create a fundraising page linked to my event. I will receive an activation email from Ultra Comedy with a link to personalise and publish this page.
I understand I can opt-out at any point by the following methods:
- Changing preferences in your account here and going to your settings.
- Using the unsubscribe option in the footer of any Ultra Events emails or SMS messages.
